What people have said about Strange Town....
Strange Town has brought more than drama to my
daughters, and for this i thank them greatly!
This company provides a great opportunity for children and young people to explore drama, learn new skills and gain confidence.
A fantastically dedicated team running an exciting, innovative and worthwhile project - the kids clearly love what they are doing...
My daughter loves going to the drama classes at Strange Town and all the drama workers involved are so supportive and friendly. They give real opportunities to the children.
Strange Town provide a fun and interesting drama class. 3 of my children have thoroughly enjoyed the classes and they have gained a lot. I particularly enjoy the low cost of the class and bursaries for those that need it. A really good inclusive drama group.
It's a great project and I have fun while helping write and perform plays. The teachers are very experienced but still fun!
hehe strange town is well minted
My son who has Aspergers used to ask me "What is
my talent" of course i would tell him he was good at lots of things but
it wasn't until i saw him perform at a Strange Town show that i saw
where his talents lie. I am one very proud mum!!
Strange Town is a fantastic group that do a fantastic job, my son loves it!!
Vikki:-
I think encouraging children to gain confidence through the arts is a great idea and this will allow young people to build on their skills also to possibly put into use in future careers or just for fun.
It brings together a group of young adults from around Edinburgh to put together a theatre company which thrives and grows all the times and makes theatre exciting!
Great local Youth Theatre with super staff support and a real community feel for its members.
