Strange Town Education

Boroughmuir High School

Strange Town has been working with a group of S5 pupils at Boroughmuir High School in Edinburgh since the end of August.  On December 15th this creative group of young people will be performing the play they have devised with the Strange Town team.  The project has been an exciting challenge - creating a new piece of theatre in very limited time, and one which has demonstrated the strengths and developed the skills of the group.  Strange Town will be starting another similar project at Boroughmuir with S6 pupils from January.

St George's School

Since October, Strange Town has been working with another group of young people, aged 14-18, this time at St George's School.  The group is focusing on writing a new play which will then be performed by pupils in the spring term.  Strange Town hopes to encourage not only budding writers but also those interested in directing and the technical side of theatre.
